If you are here looking at Ansel Adams images then you likely know of his fame and prowess as one of the great 20th century photographers of the natural world. Ansel was also one of most the delightful persons one would ever hope to meet. He relished his friends, he loved a good joke, and he was wonderful story-teller. He saw the majesty of nature, especially the wilderness, with a reverential vision and he implored us to protect this earth.
